What does ‘provide evidence of one, two or three years’ prior study in the arts’ mean?

To apply for certain courses, you must attach to your online application academic certificates showing one or two years’ study, or a three-year degree following the Baccalauréat, as well as your marks from your years of study in art or architecture (and any further qualifications you may have). Some courses accept applicants at A-level, one year after A-level or two years after A-level. Please also clearly state your current qualification or year of study and include the expected date of completion.
